Murray & Murray are delighted to be accredited with BIDA Corporate membership, the only guarantee of quality suppliers for interior designers & members of the public.
The British Interior Design Association, soon to become BIID* supports and promotes interior design professionals, encouraging excellence in design and the advancement of professional practice. BIDA Corporate membership is only granted to those suppliers of quality goods and services to the profession.
*Earlier this year the Minister of State granted the BIID Institute status in recognition of its long held position as the preeminent body representing the interior design industry.
As a newly appointed corporate member, Murray & Murray were thrilled to sponsor their latest regional event at the newly opened Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh at the end of October. In a seminar entitled 'Keeping each other Sweet' Corporate Director, Neil Stevenson spoke about the interface between Corporate members and practicing Interior Designers. He stressed that in light of the current recession there is a need for suppliers and interior designers to work in tandem.
Not only do Murray & Murray join BIDA at an exciting time having recently being granted institute status, but also feel an enormous benefit in belonging to the leading professional body representing the interior design industry, at a time when consumer confidence has been shaken.
