Case Study 4:
Georgian Masterpiece
The Brief:
To produce a collection of traditional bespoke cabinetry to suit a variety of rooms within a refurbishment of a 4 storey Georgian townhouse.
The Solution:
The decorative glass & intricate mouldings shown in the painted cabinetry of the kitchen, bar & bathrooms is typical of the high level of detail displayed in the more public rooms of the house in contrast to the more stripped back, simple shaker styles chosen for the utilitarian laundry & drying rooms. The thick textured granite work surfaces offer very natural ‘ Scottish’ feel contrasting against the delicacy of the polished Italian marble
specified in the bathrooms which was carefully selected to match the tiled flooring. The dark stained American Oak golf lockers exuded the type of luxury found only in the best clubs around the world with personalised, interchangeable nameplates.
